We wanted to create a timeless identity, with a moody edge, to play off the interior design. The logo has Havana and early Austin sensibilities, and we added an eclectic mix of old-world charm and modern aesthetic. Texture, pattern and copy throughout provide unique counterpoints to portraits and vignettes. Together, it works to showcase Waterloo as a place unlike others.
